"I just wanna tear my tender incisors through a goddamn bagel and live my life." FELT. as someone who is considering invisalign, i'm curious if you've seen a reduction in your sensitivity yet?
That was one of my favorite lines to write for this 🤩
The first and second days after I put in a new tray are the most sensitive. If you had braces as a teen it's similar to when you got them tightened. It's uncomfortable and not fun to eat hard or crunchy things, but after that second day, it subsides. For my first lot of trays, I wore them each for 2 weeks before changing them so sensitivity was totally manageable. Now that I'm nearing the end, I change the trays every week so those few tender days come a bit more often but I've totally gotten used to it. I'm so ready to be done (it's been 15 months so far and I think it will be about 18 months upon completion) and I'm so glad I've done it!
Happy to answer any other questions you have about the process <3
"I just wanna tear my tender incisors through a goddamn bagel and live my life. Every body deserves that." every. body. deserves. that. they sure do my gal. and i so WISH and LONG to live in a world where that's just the reality. i love mowing down on bagels with you and your daughter <3 I too am entering the talks of invisalign with my dentist due to the sensitivity and the crowding of my 30s as well... glad to be in it with you.
Our bagel dates with Auntie Kate are THE BEST! And I will be your Invisalign pal any and every day of the week. Maybe that world we wish and long for is possible <3<3
